Community-created resources

Guides and fact sheets written by gender-diverse people, out of lived experience rather than clinical observation.

Resources, fact sheets and guides written by gender-diverse people, out of lived experience rather than clinical observation. They cover the parts of transition that medical guidance tends to skip, and they are free to read and share.

The Gender Dysphoria Bible

Documents the many ways gender dysphoria can manifest, and the many forms gender transition can take. Written as a guide for people who are questioning, people at the start of a transition, people already well into one, and anyone who wants to be a better ally.

The Gender Book

An illustrated introduction to gender, made to be handed to anyone — a doctor, a friend, a schoolteacher, a family member, or someone working out their own gender. It is free to read online and points to more comprehensive sources.

Primed: A Sex Guide for Trans Men Into Men

The first sexual health resource written by and for gay, bi and queer trans men, first published in 2007 and updated in 2015. Built on an Ontario-wide assessment of sexual health needs, it covers disclosure, finding sex and cruising, safer sex and harm reduction, HIV and other STIs.
