Trans-specific groups

Peer-led social and support groups in South Australia run by and for trans and gender-diverse people.

These groups are run by and for trans and gender-diverse South Australians. Most welcome newcomers without any need to register in advance — but if you're nervous about walking in cold, every one of them is happy to be emailed first.

TransMascSA

A social support group for transgender men and gender-diverse individuals assigned female at birth, focusing on peer support and holistic well-being.

TransFemmeSA

A group for people who're transitioning towards femininity or away from masculinity.

TransFormations

A monthly social gathering welcoming transgender individuals of all ages, plus friends, families and allies.

Doors open 5:30pm; dinner 6:00–8:30pm; social space until late.

YouSpace

A program at headspace Port Adelaide for ages 12–17 who identify as gender questioning, gender diverse or transgender, emphasising resilience and peer support.

Kindred Spirits

A multi-group organisation with a transgender, gender-diverse and non-binary focus, prioritising privacy.
